Trace the driveway, the roofline or the mowable turf on the satellite view, on the phone, on the property. The polygon gives you the area inside it and the distance around its edge at the same time.

Most measuring in this industry happens twice. Once in a dedicated measurement product — a separate login, a separate bill, usually a desktop — and then again as somebody retypes the square footage into whatever writes the estimate. The tools are good. The handover is where the afternoon goes.

Square footage on its own is a number, not a price. What turns one into the other is a rate card that steps down with size, carries a floor under it, and adjusts for the things that actually move a job — stories, surface type, buildup, access, roof pitch.
Exterior cleaning ships with seven services already built, with these tiers in them, so your first quote is a correction rather than a blank screen. Every rate, boundary, minimum and percentage is yours to change.
